THE POOL PEOPLE Ltd and POOL LINER WARRANTIES
When a new swimming pool liner installation is complete and paid for, we provide the owner of the swimming pool, or their nominated representative, the Warranty Certificate for the liner.
The key to the Warranty is as follows:
- With the German and the Canadian swimming pool liners, a 10 year water tightness guarantee is given. The Warranty certificate is dated, with batch number of the liner and the installation date. A copy is kept in our office too.
- We also offer a 12 month fitting warranty on our installations.
- Where we install and maintain the swimming pool water, this installation warranty is extended to 24 months.
NON STAIN WARRANTY:
Unfortunately, like all products which are affected by sun/chemical and usage eg from fabrics to pool liners to car seats, it is impossible to warrant longterm against staining. The key to minimizing the staining on a new liner is:
- Correct cleaning of the swimming pool water
- REGULAR cleaning of the swimming pool water, correctly , with the suntan line being treated gently and professionally. Doing this daily is recommended
- Swimmers showering before using the swimming pool.
- The pool cleaning operative being qualified in the use of chemicals and cleaning so they are not eg burning the liner when they administer chemicals or scrubbing it to remove any staining.
NB The Warranties provided are for water tightness.

Recently, after much research and development, Elbtal have launched a new range of quality pool liners, the ELITE range, which come complete with a 15 years water tightness guarantee AND a 5 year stain resistant guarantee! Swimming Pool Liner Borders: of course, you can always enhance your swimming pool with a liner quality pool border, which comes complete with a 5 year stain resistance warranty! (We must note that it is not possible to fit a pool liner border on some older swimming pool liners due to the wearing on the pool top which prevents the borders being welded. We are happy to look at each individual pool and advise you accordingly!)

From July 2017, any new pool liner purchased and installed by us, from the ELBE Blue Line reinforced range, comes complete with an extended 15 years water tightness warranty!

Pool Borders
Fabulous hard-wearing designer new pool border. The Topborder product is slightly different to the normal borders you have seen in the way that it is on a continuous roll and not supplied by the meter, this makes it a little harder to fit but much better on the eye and of course there are less joins to cover up.

Cleaning Borders & Liners
Tips and tricks on keeping your borders and liners clean. POOL CLEANING should be carried out minimum 2 times per week, 52 weeks per year. Whilst the pool may not be used during the winter, this is the key time to balance and protect the water and get it ready for the heavy summer use.
