Water is a living , breathing element so, as such, needs constant care and expert input to ensure it stays safe, clean and welcoming!
Many people believe that if water is clear, it’s clean. Sadly, this isn’t the case. Another much held perception is that if you can smell chlorine, the pool is clean – again, something which is very far from the truth!
Add to this that some unqualified/inexperienced pool cleaners believe that adding chlorine direct into a pool, then putting in a test strip which shows that chlorine is in situ, is enough.
Throwing chemicals directly into water, is dangerous for the swimmers and will damage the pool.
OUR POOL TEAM – are each trained to PHTA (Pool & Hot Tub Alliance), formerly known as the NSPF CPO standards and understand the complicated nature of water balance. They know that water will be affected by:
Visiting pools minimum twice per week, 52 weeks per year, The Pool People ltd team test and record the following, every visit:
They then add their observations on their record sheets, checking the environment/any local eg farming activity – or bather load and estimated numbers. Pools are then chemicalised and balanced, according to the results.
